The setting
Albrighton Hall gives us countryside, open grounds and enough space for the day to unfold without anyone needing to move between venues, which should keep the whole affair nicely gathered.
The ceremony is planned outdoors, followed by drinks and photographs before everyone heads into the Albrighton Suite for the wedding breakfast and evening.
For a quiet look around before the day, there is a small venue gallery.
If the house itself has caught your interest, there is also a short history of the hall.
For the historically curious, there is still a tiny Battlefield detour.
A note for the day
The day has a relaxed shape: drinks, photographs, food, speeches and eventually dancing later in the evening.
Comfortable shoes may be useful if you plan to spend time outside, on the dancefloor, or moving between the two with sensible optimism.
Address
Albrighton Hall Hotel & Spa, Ellesmere Road, Shrewsbury, SY4 3AG
It is only a short drive from the centre of Shrewsbury, so car, train-plus-taxi and taxi-only are all good options. The maps are worth using; instinct has not been formally briefed.
Wedding contact
weddings.albrightonhall@radissonindividuals.com
For anything handled directly by the venue, this is the best contact.
Rooms at the venue
We have a select number of rooms available at a discounted rate for guests. If you are booking with the hotel, mention Ellie and Byron.
Ellie maintains that a Scottish accent may improve your chances of being looked after especially warmly. We cannot make promises on behalf of the hotel, but it feels unwise to rule it out.
